In the heart of Mount Maunganui Beach, where the sea breeze carries tales of tradition, we undertook a monumental journey a full-scale renovation that breathed new life into a tired structure yearning for a revival. This project unfolded as a symphony of craftsmanship, design vision, and a commitment to preserving the timeless charm of a Kiwi home.
The JBH team embarked on a mission to strip away the weariness that clung to the existing structure. The exterior, burdened by tired plastered claddings, was granted a fresh identity through the warmth of classic timber weatherboards, an ode to traditional Kiwi architecture. Beyond the exterior facelift, the interior underwent a metamorphosis. Walls were reframed, linings were replaced, and a new layout unfolded. Embracing the spirit of traditional finishes, bespoke handcrafted linings, and kitchen trims became the guiding stars of our design vision.
Central to this transformation is a social haven – a large open plan living area that unfolds as a celebration of bespoke craftsmanship. At its heart, a handcrafted JBH-built bar takes centre stage, a testament to meticulous detail and a commitment to excellence. Every inch of this space radiates the unmistakable touch of JBH workmanship.
This home is not just a dwelling; it's a sanctuary for entertaining. The expansive interior social lounge, complete with a built-in BBQ, beckons gatherings. As the renovation unfolded, we didn't stop at the walls. The inclusion of a new swimming pool and built-in spas introduces a Touch Of Luxury, a respite for those long, hot summer days.
